Hector Bellerin's return from injury is wonderful news for all of the Arsenal family.
The full-back has been out of action for almost nine months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament last season.
After months of rehab the Spaniard finally made his long-awaited comeback for the Gunners' under-23 team as they drew 2-2 against Wolves on Friday night.
Bellerin took to social media after the game, he said: "255 days and the day has finally come for me to get back out there. Can't describe how much I've missed this!"
That post prompted a reply from a popular member of the Arsenal alumni, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Liverpool man replied to Bellerin's post, saying: "Well done my bro! hard work paid off. Buzzing to see you back out there!"
His reply just goes to show how popular a member of the squad Hector Bellerin is, with the Spaniard clearly making quite an impression on the former Gunner.
Bellerin also sent a message to Arsenal's supporters through the club's media channels, saying: "Hey everyone, well after eight long months, I'm finally in the red and white; finally on the pitch.
"It's been a tough period, but we're back: we're back better than ever and yeah - can't wait to be at the Emirates. See ya!"
