What Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp did after awkward moment during TV interview

Jurgen Klopp’s day ended well, with Liverpool winning at Wolves in the most dramatic of fashions, but it didn’t get off to a perfect start.

While carrying out his pre-match media obligations with Sky Sports at Molineux, the Liverpool boss was taken by surprise.

An indication of the conditions his side would be up against later in the day, the sponsorship banner, set up behind the Germany-born manager, was blown over due to the heavy winds at the stadium.

With the incident caught on camera, Klopp laughed and light-heartedly responded: “It was me, it was not the wind!”

However, the Reds did receive some good news prior to the match.

West Ham United's 3-2 victory over Chelsea in the early kick-off ensured that the gap between Liverpool and the league leaders stayed at two points.

And that lead was wiped out after the Reds won 1-0 at Wolves thanks to a late goal from Divock Origi.

But it was Manchester City who ended the day on top of the Premier League after they won 3-1 at Watford in the late kick-off.
