What lessons can Obama learn from Lincoln's presidency?

Here's our Twitter topic of the day:

Today America celebrated Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday. At a ceremony in Washington commemorating the anniversary, President Barack Obama said: "For what Lincoln never forgot, not even in the midst of civil war, was that despite all that divided us - north and south, black and white - we were, at heart, one nation and one people, sharing a bond as Americans that could not break."

The media frequently compares Obama to Lincoln and Obama has said he finds "wisdom" in Honest Abe.

In these tumultuous times, what lessons can Obama take from Lincoln's presidency?
