It's safe to say Laurent Koscielny angered a few Arsenal supporters and legends following his move to Bordeaux.
Most notably Ian Wright.
The defender completed his £4.6million move back to France after refusing to travel with the Gunners on their pre-season tour of the USA.
But what annoyed Arsenal fans and Wright the most was the social media video used to announce his arrival at Bordeaux.
The Ligue 1 outfit posted a video on Twitter of the defender removing his Arsenal shirt.
Only to reveal his new shirt underneath - a post which prompted a furious response from Wright who didn't hold back in his message on social media.
"This hurts. The level of disrespect," he wrote on Twitter.
"You should be ashamed for the way you've left the club after 9 years! Got what you wanted and still trying to have a dig. Hope it's worth it in the long run."
Koscielny has since faced the media for the first time since leaving Arsenal and reiterated his stance of having nothing but respect for his former employers.
"It is not up to me to speak about it," he told reporters at his official unveiling.
"I am focused on the match on Saturday.
"I don't need to speak. I have huge respect from Arsenal, I showed this respect on the pitch."
Following Koscielny's departure, Gunners head coach Unai Emery has less 24 hours than to secure a replacement and strengthen his back line ahead of the Premier League opener against Newcastle United this weekend.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with moves for defenders Daniele Rugani and Dayot Upamecano, although a shock name has come to the fore in recent hours.
According to L’Equipe, the north London outfit have submitted an offer for Chelsea defender David Luiz.
Any deal would need to be completed before the transfer window closes at 5pm today.
