What Kevin de Bruyne told Pep Guardiola during Premier League title celebrations

It was a moment to savour for Manchester City supporters on Sunday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola and his side became the first team to retain the Premier League title in over a decade as they overcame an intense battle with Liverpool to secure the top prize in English football.

Following a 4-1 victory over Brighton on the South Coast, players and supporters joined in the celebrations as they basked in the sunshine and enjoyed their remarkable achievement.

For manager Guardiola it was the sweetest title of his managerial career, but there was one figure who didn't seem so impressed by his achievement.

Kevin de Bruyne.

Footage from Spanish outlet Movistar captured the on-field reaction to the trophy lift, and gave insight into one communication between Guardiola and the Belgian midfielder.

The video clip showed Guardiola hugging the 27-year-old as they soaked up the atmosphere and joined the rest of the squad celebrating in front of the packed away end.

However, De Bruyne had a cheeky joke with his manager and turned to him saying: "You’re s**t coach. You only win.”

He has a point. Guardiola has made a habit of winning silverware in his managerial career, with his latest title triumph the eighth he has won as a coach.

The Catalan will be looking to add to his trophy cabinet this weekend as he goes in search of FA Cup glory and the chance of completing an unprecedented domestic treble.

Mabe, just maybe, De Bruyne will give him the credit he deserves then.
