What Jurgen Klopp did differently at full time after Liverpool's win over Leeds United

Liverpool closed the gap on leaders Manchester City after their comprehensive win over Leeds United in the Premier League.

The Reds ran out 6-0 winners at Anfield on Wednesday night, to move just three points behind Man City with 12 fixtures left to play.

Two Mohamed Salah penalties supported by a Joel Matip put Liverpool into a three-goal lead at half time.

Further second half goals from Sadio Mane (two) and Virgil van Dijk handed Liverpool their biggest league win over the season so far.

After the full-time whistle, Jurgen Klopp did his usual fist-pump celebration to the Kop - but this time there was a twist.

Klopp made his way around the Liverpool players, congratulating them for a job well done before he turned his attention to the Anfield faithful in the Kop.

Instead of doing his usual three, Klopp this time did six followed by another fist pump on his chest.

Liverpool are not in Premier League action again until March 5 against West Ham, thanks to next Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.

Man City will have the opportunity to restore a six-point advantage when they play Everton on Saturday.
