What Jose Mourinho told his Roma players during Bodo/Glimt thrashing as harsh words in 6-1 loss revealed

Roma boss Jose Mourinho reportedly told his players they wouldn't even get a game in the Italian second division as he tried to rouse them during the loss to Bodo/Glimt.

The Giallorossi were on the end of a stunning result in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night as they fell to a 6-1 loss to the Norwegian league leaders.

It's one of the worst results in the history of the Serie A giants and the first time a Mourinho team has conceded six.

After the match the Special One laid into his team, stating that his second string are simply not good enough.

But according to Rome-based sports daily Corriere dello Sport the Portuguese had already given his players a roasting at half-time in the tie.

According to the newspaper Mourinho told his players: "Some among you are not even good enough to play in Serie B, or here in Norway."

The capital club are in action against Napoli on Sunday evening as they look to bounce back from the loss.

And Il Messaggero reports that the owners were not pleased with Mourinho's very public slaughtering of his squad on Thursday, with the Friedkins speaking to him on Friday.

However, they are prepared to spend in January with the former Manchester United boss requesting a right-back, a central defender and a midfielder.
