What Jose Mourinho complained to Solskjaer about before Manchester United vs Tottenham

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed Jose Mourinho complained about the standard of the away dressing room at Old Trafford when he returned to face Manchester United last year.

The Portuguese manager was on the losing side last December as his Tottenham side fell to a 2-1 defeat against United in the Premier League.

Marcus Rashford's brace secured a vital victory for United as Mourinho's first match back at Old Trafford in 12 months ended in defeat.

Despite having been sacked by United a year previous the Tottenham manager received a warm welcome from supporters, but it wasn't all smiles ahead of kick-off for the former boss.

Solskjaer has revealed he had a conversation with Mourinho ahead of the match and said the Portuguese complained about the away facilities his team had to deal with.

"We had a chat before the game," Solskjaer told fanzine United We Stand. "I’d not really met him before, only briefly when he was at Chelsea and they played Cardiff. We had a nice chat.

"He was complaining about the away dressing room, the one that he’d changed!

"There was a positive atmosphere between us – it was good to have him back."
