What Jorginho's agent has said about Chelsea midfielder's future amid Juventus transfer links

The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has again been speaking about his client's future and a possible move to Juventus in the summer.

The Italian playmaker has been linked with another reunion with former Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri at the Serie A Champions, with speculation reigning over the 28-year-old's future at Stamford Bridge.

Should Jorginho re-join Sarri at Juventus, it will be the third club he has worked under the head coach at, after following Sarri from Napoli to Chelsea in the summer of 2018.

Jorginho has gone onto make 86 appearances for the Blues, scoring nine goals and providing two assists and has become a key player under Frank Lampard this season.

However, speculation over his future remains, and speaking to Tutto Juve (via the Daily Star), the player's agent Joao Santos, has given another update on his client's future at the club.

“Anything can happen inside the transfer market,” he said.

"The ‘why not?’ means that Jorginho has a three-year contract with  Chelsea, the priority is clearly to stay here, but we could also consider leaving the club in July.

“And if this hypothesis occurs, we would be ready to evaluate the different proposals that will come from Italy, France, England. Why should Juventus not be possible?

“It is the most important team in Italy, the one that has won the most in recent years. We would not say no to the Bianconeri.”

Earlier in the week, the agent said that a summer move away from Stamford Bridge could be a possibility.

"Why not?" he told Tuttomercatoweb, as per the Daily Mail.

"I am sure that some important proposals will come, which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea.

"His goal is the Europeans with the national team.

"There are many expectations around Mancini's team. The European Championship is also a good showcase.

"Even personally, he is doing very well at Chelsea, and I am sure that some important proposals will come because in his role there are not many high-level players like him around."
