ICYMI, yearning season is officially over with The Summer I Turned Pretty coming to an end with its season three finale. But before Jenny Han could kiss this era goodbye, the author left fans a sweet, sweet message to close off the shebang.

Yep, that’s right, we can finally put the tissue boxes down because Isabelle ‘Belly’ Conklin has officially made a choice in the Fisher brother love triangle after three bloody summers/seasons.

And with Belly ~finally~ making that big leap, that means the show is donezo! No more summers, no more love triangles and no more hiding from social media because of spoilers.
But alongside that truly wholesome ending, The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s author, Jenny Han, thanked fans for their support via an end-credits letter.
So yeah… maybe grab that tissue box one last time.
What did Jenny Han’s message say at the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty finale?
After a montage of photos featuring Belly and the man she picks (we will reveal in the end, so you’ve got some time before I spoil it), a handwritten letter from the mother of romance, Han, appeared on screen.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you’ve shown The Summer I Turned Pretty all these years,” the post-credit letter began.
“Whether you’ve been with Belly since the very first book or joined us with the show, I’m so grateful you’ve made Belly’s story part of your summers.
“We put our whole heart into this show, and we’re so thankful to you for coming along with us on the ride. Maybe we’ll meet again one summer in Cousins. Until then — All of my love always, Jenny.”
