Jennifer Aniston has given a nod in the direction of what she considers for a relationship to be successful.
The 52-year-old actress, who made her name in Friends and has won critical acclaim for her role in The Morning Show, is not someone that seems to rush into a relationship.
She was once half of Hollywood's 'golden couple' with Brad Pitt, when they were married at the turn of the millennium and there was also a high profile marriage to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.
Jen doesn't seem to be one for 'casual dating', though rumours of Brad Pitt being back on the scene continue to persist, even if more in hope from fans of the pair rather than being any substance to it.
There have been reports of a "handsome" mystery man, although much of his identity remains to be revealed.
A source told InTouch : "They have tons in common.
"He’s down to earth, handsome, he makes her laugh and he makes her feel safe. She trusts him."
To have a chance of being Jennifer's beau, there is one main requirement, which the actress hinted at on Instagram.
The Friends star, who played Rachel Green in the US sitcom, posted snippets of a documentary about singer and actress Eartha Kitt on her Instagram Story.
In one clip, a reporter asks Eartha: "“If a man came into your life, wouldn’t you want to compromise?”
Eartha responds: “Stupid. A man comes into my life and I have to compromise? You must think about that one again.
"A man comes into my life and you have to compromise? For what? For what?”
Jennifer added a caption of laughing emojis in a nod to that she believes in a similar sentiment and in doing so, has shown that she will not be compromised by anyone who wants to be by her side in a romantic relationship.
