What Jamie Carragher did to Gary Neville after Bournemouth comeback that Arsenal fans will love

Jamie Carragher has had a cheeky dig at fellow pundit Gary Neville after Arsenal secured an incredible 3-2 victory over Bournemouth.

The Gunners were 2-0 down with just half an hour left to play but showed composure to fight back, with Thomas Partey and Ben White scoring before Reiss Nelson's last-gasp strike secured a vital three points in the Premier League title race. After the full-time whistle, Carragher took to Twitter to poke fun at Manchester United hero Neville for his previous comments on the north London outfit.

The Liverpool legend Tweeted out: "Leadership on show (eyes emoji) #ARSBOU", alongside a video of Neville criticising Mikel Arteta's side for their lack of leadership. The latter has consistently been vocal about his scepticism towards Arsenal throughout the season, predicting United and City to both finish ahead of the Gunners as recently as earlier this week.

Speaking on the Overlap, the former England right-back : "That’s my inkling earlier in the season, what normally happens is one team gets so close they realise they can’t win it and then they just go like that in the last two or three games. You lose two games and then all of a sudden someone else goes above you. I thought City would win the league and United would finish second two or three months ago.

"To be fair, I’m not going to change my mind on it. I still think City are going to win the league even though Arsenal, the closer it gets… but 14 games is still a long way to go. I still think United will finish second."
