What Jadon Sancho has said about his future as Dortmund 'reject' Man Utd bid amid Chelsea links

Borussia Dortmund have rejected a £69million bid from Manchester United for Jadon Sancho.

According to BBC Sport journalist Simon Stone, Dortmund are demanding €90m+5m (£77m+4.2m) for Sancho, with a 'shorter repayment period than the five years suggested'.

The England international has also been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, but as things stand, Man United look to have made the first move for the 21-year-old.

The Blues are reportedly considering a move for a wide player before the start of next season, with Kingsley Coman a name being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Sancho has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League in previous windows, with both Chelsea and United among those linked.

The Dortmund star has also been talking about his future amid reports that United have had an offer turned down for his services.

Sancho remained very coy on the speculation and was determined to stress his focus is on England, with his country's opening Euro 2020 match on Sunday against Croatia.

"I don't really look at it. During the season, I always focus on myself and the team. That's the most important thing you can do," Sancho said, via talkSPORT.

"Every time I'm on the pitch, I always give it my all. That's what I really try to do and work hard for the team.

"I feel like that's part of the game (noise around his future). A lot of fans are always going to be excited about the start of a major tournament, that's normal.

"As a young kid growing up, watching these tournaments, I think I'm excited as well. All the fans should be excited because these tournaments don't come around often.

"You have to just take your moment and when you do get your moment on the pitch, you have to just take it."

Chelsea have had a few players linked with an exit from west London this summer, including Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Hudson-Odoi is reportedly a target for Dortmund, Sancho's employers, which could impact any possible deal the Blues may look to strike with the Bundesliga club.

However, the Chelsea winger reportedly wants to stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for his place despite falling out of favour under Thomas Tuchel since the German coach took over from Frank Lampard in January.

Other Chelsea players linked with moves away this summer include strikers Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi and full-backs Emerson and Marcos Alonso.
