Liz Truss was chosen to be the UK's newest Prime Minister after a dramatic leadership race.
With many issues on everyone's mind, people are anticipating what the Prime Minister will do first. Ms Truss has pledged to "deliver on the energy crisis" - with details expected to be announced on Thursday, September 8.
Speaking outside No.10 Downing Street on Tuesday, September 7, the new Prime Minister promised to "put our health service on a firm footing" and take action this week to deal with energy bills". Ms Truss also pledged to cut taxes.

Liz Truss said: "I will cut taxes to reward hard work and boost business led growth and investments," she said. "I will drive reform in my mission to get the United Kingdom working building and growing."
The cost-of-living crisis has been at the forefront of many people's minds with energy bills set to skyrocket on October 1. Ms Truss has promised to deliver on this national issue this week.
