After a gruelling and often surprising campaign, Jeremy Corbyn is now the leader of the Labour party.
Corbyn won with almost 60% of the vote in the first round, beating rival candidates Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall. Speaking following his win, Corbyn spoke about shaping a Labour party in unity, saying: “Things can, and they will, change.”
