What is Tyson Fury's net worth?

British WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, is set for another large payday after his fight with fellow UK fighter, Dillian Whyte on Saturday.

The Gypsy King will take home 80% of the £31million winning purse bid. That figure will then be boosted by the revenue from pay-per-view customers who bought the fight.

Given that Fury was involved in a high profile trilogy of fights against former WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, current estimates place Fury's net worth at between £100million and £120million, although some speculate that the true figure could be higher.

If the lower figure of £100million is to be believed, that would place Fury in 7th place in the sport of boxing's rich list, in between former American boxer, Sugar Ray Leonard, and former British boxer, Lennox Lewis.

Saturday night's fight against Whyte should see Fury move further up the list, with further paydays on the horizon should he come out on top.

A win would allow Fury to challenge either Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk, depending on who wins their rematch, which has been pushed back until the summer.

That would see Fury's net worth increase to around £150million, and would mean that only Manny Pacquiao, George Foreman, and Floyd Mayweather would still be ahead of him on the rich list.
