Wordle has become a massive hit over the past few months and has brought out everyone's love of word challenges.

It seems we're having a nice streak of easy words this week so far with no repeating letters - the biggest enemy of any Wordle player in my opinion.

SO, first things first let's start with the vowels - you are likely to get these at least in the yellow square in your first or second guess with any reliable words with plenty of vowels in them.

Things get a bit trickier when you try putting them in the right place - hopefully you managed to either get A in the second spot and E in the final spot.

With your guess words, you may have noticed that there is an S, L and E in today's word - if you managed to get most of these letters before your last guess then you've already won.

There is only one word in the English language this could be, making the guess much easier. That's right, today's Wordle answer is LAPSE.

If you ran out of guesses, don't let it get you down too much, Wordle is all about learning and the more you play the better you will be at getting the fabled third correct guess.
