What is today's Wordle answer of the day for April 8?

Wordle has become a massive hit over the past few months and has brought out everyone's love of word challenges.

Another bonus is that the game doesn't cost anything to play and is ad-free while only taking a few minutes out of your day - perfect for a morning commute or lunch break entertainment. Before reading ahead, note we will be giving away today's Wordle answer so if you don't want to spoil it for yourself stop now!

Today's word is pretty easy compared to some of the previous entries thanks to the fact that we don't have any repeating or uncommon letters this time. Despite this it can still be very easy to get this word wrong if you don't focus on the right letters.

Like most Wordle guesses, the key to finding today's answer is getting the vowels in the right place - any seasoned Wordle player most likely already has a few guesses up their sleeves to secure the vowels. After a try or two, hopefully, you will have figured out there is an A and E in the third and fifth place of today's word.

Now, by the usual process of elimination, you'll soon be able to get a few more letters in the right place - if you're lucky you might even have got them all before getting to your last guess, but this may be very difficult if you're missing a key letter.

After a few tries of figuring out the word, hopefully you managed to discover that today's word is SCARE - if you were unable to initially guess where the letter C is you may have run out of letters simply by trying to figure out the second letter.
