What is the start date for Married At First Sight UK?

After weeks of teasing and then revealing the brides and grooms to be, E4 has finally announced when the new series of Married at First Sight is starting.

The new series, which will have some format changes, will begin on Monday, August 30 on E4 but an air time has not been released yet.

There are two Welsh grooms to be in this series, with both Luke, a care home manager, and Jordon, a personal trainer, being from Cardiff and looking for love.

One of the major changes to the new series is that the couples will no longer get legally married when they first meet each other.

Instead, like the Australian version of the show, there will be a lifelong commitment ceremony that will have all the typical features of a wedding including speeches and dancing.

The couples will then go on a honeymoon together before coming back to live with each other, but there is another twist here.

Not only will the couples live together but they will also live with all the other couples where they will have weekly dinner parties.

Also new for this series is the new weekly companion show, Married at First Sight: Afters which will be hosted by AJ Odudu and will look at the behind the scenes of the couples relationships.

Married at First Sight will start on E4 on Monday, August 30.
