What is the Parental Lock system code in DELTARUNE?

DELTARUNE Chapter 3 begins with you participating in Mr. Ant Tenna’s TV show. But as you progress, you will soon run into a green room, where you’ll find the Parental Lock system doors. These doors are locked behind codes that you must decipher in their respective rooms.

The pattern in which the clues for these codes are hidden can be a bit tricky to decipher, especially the second one. Nevertheless, we have you covered with all the details leading up to the door that protects all R-rated movies, as well as how to unlock it.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Parental Lock system, as well as the codes to unlock it in DELTARUNE Chapter 3.

DELTARUNE Chapter 3 features a TV Show theme where you are inside a TV station, participating in various activities and challenges while also engaging in fights. Soon after you finish the first round of activities and challenges, you will find yourself in a green room, free to explore. There are plenty of hidden challenges and quests in the green room that you can complete, including the chance to explore through various doors.

One such door is covered in yellow tape and is guarded by one of Mr. Tenna’s assistants. Upon interacting with the assistant, you will be presented with the option to either Fight him or Press his buttons. I went with the former option and found the option Off Button under the Act list in the fight. However, that option requires you to have 100 percent TP in the fight, thus requiring you to dodge a few rounds of attacks from the assistant.

Once you reach 100 percent TP, you can use the Off Button and immediately win the fight. After the fight is over, simply walk in through the door covered with yellow tape, and you’ll find yourself inside a very dark room. Keep walking through the room and into the next one to find three giant screens with a console attached to the middle one. However, you won’t be able to turn it on just yet.

Walk across the room to the locked door and interact with it. This is where you will come across the Parental Lock System for the first time in Chapter 3.

How to unlock the Parental Lock system doors

There are two doors at this stage of the game that are locked behind the Parental Lock system doors, while another one becomes available later in the storyline. For the first two doors, you will need to play using the console on three and six screens, respectively, to find the codes that will unlock them. However, the third door, which appears later in the store, does not have custom code, and you can open it by simply pressing Enter when the value is set to 000000.

Having said that, you will need to put in a bit of work to uncover the codes to these locked doors, especially with the pattern of how the screens are placed.

Parental Lock system code for the first door

The code for the first door of the Parental Lock system in DELTARUNE is 213. You can uncover this by interacting with the console and using the controller to find clues. Depending on how much of the green room you have explored, you will be controlling the console as either Kris or Susie. The advantage you get with Kris is that he can be equipped with a sword if he has explored behind the doors marked S in the green room and played the other version of the sandbox game.

However, you will have to pick up one of the blue blocks on the leftmost screen and place it on the marked corner in the rightmost screen. You will notice that the pattern that emerges forms a three on the screen. Additionally, you will be able to create the symbols for one and two on the leftmost and center screen, respectively, making a 1-2-3 on the three screens.

If you try inputting these three digits in this exact order on the screen, you will receive an error message. This is because the screens are not in chronological order. The leftmost screen is supposed to be at the center due to the openings on the wall on both sides, while the screens in the center and the right side have walls blocking the way on one side each. Therefore, the exact order of the codes is 2-1-3.

Parental Lock system code for the second door

Once you have gone through the first door of the Parental Lock system, there will be a small exchange between Kris, Susie, and Ralsei. Walk into the next room to find another console, however, with six screens instead of three, as the code is also six digits long for this door. The code for the second door is 1225, and deciphering it using the six monitors took me quite a hefty chunk of time.

Walking across the room will lead you to another locked room, where interacting with it will activate the console. At first, you will have to play a game to find and trap a key that is constantly trying to run away from you.

This key unlocks the door that leads to the hints for the code required to unlock the Parental Lock system door. However, it can be quite tricky to do so, as neither the screens are placed in order, nor are the pathways clear to understand, with each screen having a unique layout that leads to innovative routes. And all of this is going on while the key itself keeps running away from you.

Nevertheless, there is a way to trap the slippery key by using the two blue blocks that you will find on one of the screens. I used these blocks to block off a narrow pathway and then trap the key inside it, leaving it without a path to escape. Once you manage to grab the key, go over to the locked door and unlock it. Then walk into the doorway to find yourself on a screen with strange patterns that form four numbers when placed in chronological order.

It took me a few seconds to decipher it; however, now that I have managed to do it, the trick that I found helpful was to align the walls according to the corners and sides. You could try it too if you’re having difficulty deciphering the code.
