What is the Disney Christmas advert song? Viewers across the world fall in love with track

It's the advert that has had people across the world drying their eyes and now everyone wants to know what the song is from Disney's Christmas advert.

Since its premiere on Sunday, the Disney advert called 'From Our Family To Yours', has had millions of views worldwide and if you haven't seen it yet you need to, but have some tissues on standby!

It starts in 1940, when a young girl is given a Mickey Mouse toy by her father.

The advert then fast forwards decades to see the same girl as a grandma as she gives her granddaughter Lola the same Mickey teddy to play with as she looks on with a huge smile and the pair make Christmas stars together - lanterns called parols, which are a festive tradition from the Philippines.

As the years go by and Lola gets older, she becomes less interested in Mickey and making the lanterns, leaving her grandmother heartbroken but, of course with Disney, there is a happy ending, as Lola, after looking at family photos, fills the living room and street outside with the lanterns she and her grandma used to make.

It then gets even better when Lola presents her grandmother with a box with Mickey in.

The heartwarming and tearjerking advert has had a huge reaction so far and as, well as being left in tears, people who've seen it have also been left wondering what the song is from it.

Well the answer is Love Is A Compass by Griff - which is currently number 18 on UK iTunes and proceeds from it will go to Make-A-Wish.

And like the ad itself, the song has plenty of admirers. One Twitter user posted: "Probs cried around 3 times today listening to this song and watching the new Disney Christmas advert," and another posted: "The song is absolutely stunning."

A third tweeted Griff to say: "love is a compass is such a beautiful song you did it effortlessly. super talented!!"
