What is the Children In Need 2021 song this year?

Tonight is all about Children In Need as the charity's mega telethon makes its annual return.

With this year's theme of 'Together, We Can,' the fundraising event is aiming to show disadvantaged children that they are not alone.

The jam-packed appeal show begins at 7pm on BBC One on Friday, November 19, and will be broadcast live from Media City UK, in Salford, and feature some well-known faces as hosts.

Hosting this year's appeal show will be Mel Giedroyc and Graham Norton, Ade Adepitan MBE, Chris Ramsey, and Alex Scott MBE.

And of course, there will be plenty of entertaining sketches and brilliant musical performances.

One of the performances will be of BBC Children in Need's 2021 single which was unveiled earlier this week.

This year's track is a reimagined version of Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac and has been performed by singers Niall Horan and Anne-Marie.

The charity single has been released by Atlantic Records today (November 19).

And an accompanying video features cameos from fellow pop superstars including Ed Sheeran on guitar, Griff on synths and Yungblud on bass.

Fleetwood Mac star Christine McVie, who wrote Everywhere, has commented on the news of the song being re-recorded.

She said: "I'm thrilled with this new version of Everywhere and to be part of this year’s Children In Need campaign.

"I hope we can really make a difference."

Last year’s single, Times Like These, went to number one on the UK singles chart. It was also the first Foo Fighters song to reach number one in the UK.

A minimum of 50p from the sale of each download in the UK will benefit BBC Children In Need.
