What Is Scottie Scheffler’s Net Worth?

Scottie Scheffler takes a shot at The Open.

Scottie Scheffler was already enjoying a lucrative career by the end of 2023, but a dominant 2024 followed by further success in 2025 has helped swell his net worth considerably, with some truly eye-opening prize money reaching his bank account as he continues to establish himself as the dominant player of his generation.

The American turned professional in 2018, and, like many players, he had a modest start to his paid career, with just over $25,000 in earnings by the end of that season.

However, the 2018-19 season saw him earn $705,209, helped by his first two professional wins on the Korn Ferry Tour. With his PGA Tour card secured, his earnings soon began to skyrocket, with the following two seasons each bringing him around $5m in prize money, while he entered 2022 just outside the world's top 10.

Even though Scheffler showed all the signs of enjoying a long and successful PGA Tour career by that point, he was yet to claim his maiden title on the circuit, but that all changed in February 2022, when he won the WM Phoenix Open to claim $1.476m.

By that April's Masters, he had added the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the WGC-Match Play titles. At Augusta National, he then claimed his biggest payout so far - $2.7m for his maiden Major title on the way to earning close to $30m throughout the 2021/22 season, including $5.75m from the FedEx Cup and $5.5m from the Player Impact Program.

It was a similar story for Scheffler in the 2022/23 season, where wins in the WM Phoenix Open and The Players Championship contributed to total earnings of over $27m. When taking into account prize money for individual tournaments, Tour Championship payouts, Comcast Business Top-10 payments and Player Impact Program money, that brought his career earnings to over $68m. Incredibly, he was just getting started, with a sensational year in 2024 seeing him eclipse that number in the space of 12 months

As well as his second Masters title bringing him $3.6m, Scheffler also won many of the PGA Tour's lucrative Signature Events. He earned $4m for victory in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, $3.6m at the RBC Heritage, another $4m for his Memorial Tournament victory and an additional $3.6m at the Travelers Championship. There was also a $4.5m payday for his victory at The Players Championship.

The FedEx Cup Playoffs, which saw him claim the trophy for the first time, landed him $25m, while he also won $16m through a combination of the Comcast Business Tour Top-10 and the Player Impact Program. As well as taking the gold medal at the Olympics, he was paid $37,500 by the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee for the achievement, while his victory alongside Rory McIlroy at The Showdown earned him $5m of cryptocurrency CRO.

It wasn't just Scheffler's success on the course that proved financially beneficial, either, with Sportico reporting he earned another $28m through endorsements from deals with the likes of Nike, TaylorMade and Titleist, bringing his overall earnings for the year to a mind-boggling $104.3m.

Scheffler's start to 2025 was slower, in part because of a freak injury he sustained on Christmas Day, meaning his first appearance didn't come until February. He then had to wait for his first victory of the season where he blew away the rest of the field to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson for a $1.782m payout.

That marked the resumption of normal service, with his third Major title coming at the PGA Championship for a $3.42m payday, followed by another $4m for his win at the Memorial Tournament. Overall, ahead of The Open, Scheffler had earned $16,102,833 for the year.

Taking into account prize money in tournaments, Tour Championship payouts, Comcast Business Top-10 payments and Player Impact Program money, by the 2024 Open, Scheffler had amassed over $145m in earnings. With endorsements, the figure will be closer to $200m. Of course, there are expenses, including taxes and payments to his caddie Ted Scott. However, even with those, some estimates now place his overall net worth as high as $110m.
