What is Cardiff City's best XI after transfer deadline day and how could they line up against Luton?

The transfer window has slammed shut for another summer and, barring any free transfers, Cardiff City's recruitment is over until January.

Some key players have left the Welsh capital this summer and the departure of Bobby Reid on deadline day was a cruel blow for many Bluebirds supporters.

Elsewhere we have seen first-team regulars Bruno Manga, Kenneth Zohore and Aron Gunnarsson leave, while Victor Camarasa, Oumar Niasse and Harry Arter have not returned following their loan stints last season.

Neil Warnock has been busy in terms of incomings, however, and we could see some new faces in the starting line up against Luton on Saturday.

The manager has already confirmed new signing Robert Glatzel will feature, while it appears likely fellow new boy Marlon Pack will shore up the midfield following .

Pack is expected to add steel in midfield, while there could well be a first start for Wales international Will Vaulks alongside him.

Neil Etheridge is Cardiff's first-choice goalkeeper, , will it be Joe Day, who replaced him at Wigan, or Alex Smithies who takes the gloves?

And who will be on the wings either side of Glatzel after the arrivals of Gavin Whyte and Isaac Vassell? Lee Tomlin, Matt Connolly and Jazz Richards, meanwhile, are all deemed unfit.

They are welcome dilemmas for Warnock and we want fans to have their say on what is Cardiff's strongest XI now that the market has shut.

We've given our verdict.

Cardiff City's strongest XI: Day, Peltier, Morrison, Flint, Bennett, Vaulks, Pack, Ralls, Mendez-Laing, Glatzel, Murphy
