He's one of the first names on the teamsheet, and with Hugo Lloris it's clear to see why.
The goalkeeper has established himself as a real fans' favourite at Tottenham after racking up over 300 appearances, many of which have been as the club captain.
Despite working under previous managers, Lloris has really proven himself as part of the furniture since Mauricio Pochettino joined the club in 2014.
The Frenchman has always been a key player under the Argentine, and speaking to France Football , Lloris was quick to praise his manager and speak of their professional and personal relationship.
Llloris said: "I have a strong relationship with him. On the human level too.
"And that does not distort the professional relationship at all. We make the difference. The current is gone right away. I like his football ideas, I like his personality. We move together.
"I am very proud to be part of his team."
The goalkeeper isn't the only player to sing Mauricio Pochettino's praises this week.
Tottenham starlet Oliver Skipp has also been speaking about the manager and praising his relationship with the boss.
Speaking to football.london , he said: "The gaffer is brilliant with us younger players. Say if it's during an international break some of the academy boys will train with the first team and he will give them a taste of what that life is like,
"I think he really helps young player's development with the way he integrates you into the squad. The pre-seasons are massive for young players at the start of each year. You have to take your opportunities."
