Henrich Mkhitaryan has described his move to Roma as 'a great opportunity'.
The Armenian international has signed a season-long loan deal with the Serie A side after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
After joining Arsenal as part of the deal to take Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, the midfielder has flattered to deceive in north London.
The 30-year-old has struggled for form since moving to the Gunners and leaves with a record of nine goals and 13 assists in 59 appearances.
The last of those was as a second half substitute in Sunday's North London Derby with Tottenham Hotspur.

His introduction saw him receive a mixed reception from the Arsenal fans, and it seems that a move to Roma seemed to suit all parties involved.
Speaking to the AS Roma website after signing, Mkhitaryan said: "It’s a great opportunity for me to begin a new chapter, with a great club,” said Mkhitaryan.
“I know what this club is all about and I am sure we can achieve great things together.”
The midfielder will wear the number 77 shirt with the Italian side covering the entirety of his 200,000-per-week wage packet.
