What Heisman winner did jersey swap with DeVonta Smith?

The Heisman Trophy winners have to stick together. And we don’t mean in the Heisman House on those commercials.

While the Heisman winners grow by one player each year, it remains an exclusive fraternity.

So, when one gets a chance to meet another, some jersey-trading takes place.

ESPN’s Desmond Howard, Heisman winner 1991, was assigned to interview the winner of the 2020 award, fellow wide receiver DeVonta Smith of Alabama.

So, what did the Michigan Wolverine star and Crimson Tide great do? Of course, they exchanged autographed jerseys.

Smith has a high bar if he is to reach what Howard did in the NFL.

Remember, Howard was a Super Bowl MVP for the Green Bay Packers, earning the honor in XXXI with 244 all-purpose yards, including a 99-yard kickoff return.
