What Hector Bellerin said to Kieran Tierney before scoring Arsenal's equaliser against Chelsea

Hector Bellerin rescued a point for Arsenal after scoring a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

The Gunners, who were down to 10-men after David Luiz was shown a straight red card in the first half, twice trailed to Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicueta goals.

But Bellerin, who was restored to the starting line-up after recovering from injury, fired a low curling shot past Kepa Arrizabalaga to level the scores with only three minutes remaining.

Taking to his Instagram account after the game, the Arsenal right-back wrote: "Always happy to score against these lot... But what truly made me happy was everyone fighting for their lives on that pitch.

"Big well done to the team tonight."

In the aftermath of the match, one Arsenal supporter noticed the significance of Bellerin scoring with his weaker left-foot, and shared a video clip of the goal, with another video quote tweeted above.

The clip shows a conversation between Bellerin, Kieran Tierney, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Gunners strength and conditioning coach Sam Wilson at London Colney, although it is unknown when the video was recorded.

In the clip, Wilson says to Bellerin: "You telling them about your left foot now, you going to take number three [in reference to Tierney's shirt number]?"

The Spanish international replies: "My left foot is crazy now, you know. I never used it before but now it's alright still."

Wilson then can be heard in the background saying: "Now he's saying he's left-footed, we're going to have to change up the numbers."

Speaking after the game, head coach Mikel Arteta praised his side's spirit to comeback with a man disadvantage.

"The spirit, character, fight and leadership was there," he said.

"When someone makes a mistake and someone has to take a red card for him it can happen.

"What has to happen is you have to stand up for him and every single player did that. If you put in everything, anything can happen."
