If the pressure isn't on Christian Pulisic yet after signing for Chelsea for £58million in January then next season all the spotlight is set to be on him.
Chelsea's winger situation is a tricky one. Eden Hazard and Callum Hudson-Odoi's futures are up in the air with both being linked with a move away in the summer.
Meanwhile, Willian and Pedro's contracts run out in the summer of 2020 and there is going to be a changing of the guard, which starts with the 20-year-old American.
Pulisic was loaned back out to Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the Bundesliga campaign as Dortmund are pushing hard for the title against their usual rivals Bayern Munich.

Both teams are on 60 points with 26 matches of the season gone so far and it means there is going to be a huge weight on the final few matches of the campiagn.
But what has happened to Pulisic?
It has been a tough campaign for the American for several reasons.
The first being injuries, which have taken their toll on the young winger and has meant that he has lacked the consistency and flow of matches he craves.
In fact, Saturday was the first time that he had started a game since mid-December, having to fight through muscle problems throughout the course of the campaign.
That has meant he has made just 15 Bundesliga appearances so far during the campaign with only six of them being starts.

The other problem has been due to the emergence of England's newest hope Jadon Sancho. The former Manchester City winger took his time to get into the side, but this year he has made 19 starts.
With eight goals and 12 assists in the league, he overshadows the two goals and three assists that Pulisic has been able to muster in the Bundesliga so far.

However, the potential for Pulisic is great, there is no doubt. Chelsea fans will, however, might see Hudson-Odoi walking out the door this summer, one of their own, to be replaced by a similar player.

The interesting thing to watch with Pulisic is actually the position that he plays for the USA in their current games.
Their manager, Gregg Berhalter, believes that the youngster can develop in another position, rather than just in the wide areas.
"When you looked at last camp, there’s times when the wingers go inside and the 10s go wide, and we just want to see how that look," Berhalter told Bundesliga.com . "We want Christian to be flexible. We want to take advantage of his one-v-one, but we also want to get him in front of goal.
"With Christian, and I’ve been consistent saying this, we want to find a spot where he can affect the game and he can get more out of his teammates, and also put him in position to score goals and make assists."
That could be something that helps develop the soon-to-be Blues forward and make him more adaptable when he eventually pulls on a Chelsea shirt.
The pressure in on the youngster to come into the Blues this summer and adapt quickly, because he could have some pretty big shoes to fill in his first season.
