Tottenham Hotpsur star Harry Kane has offered up a promising update on his fitness ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Trailing 1-0 from the first-leg defeat in London last week, Spurs were given a mountain to climb after falling behind to goals from Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech.
However, the team produced a sensational comeback with Lucas Moura's hat-trick sending the Lilywhites through to the final.
With Spurs fans desperate for their star man to return, it has now been revealed by former player turned BT Sport pundit, Jermaine Jenas, that Kane will be fit for the Champions League final on June 1 against the Reds.
Kane has been out of action since early April after suffering an ankle injury but Jenas has provided the comments that Spurs' fans will love.
"He basically said to me that he will be fit for the (Champions League) final," Jenas told BT Sport when asked what Kane said to him during a chat prior to kick-off. "But I think we all knew that no matter what if Spurs were to get to any type of final he would be playing."
