Tyrone Dobbs will find himself waiting at the altar as his surprise wedding descends into chaos on Coronation Street.
On Christmas Day this year, the much-loved soap couple Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) will finally get a chance to tie the knot as Tyrone plans a surprise special day for the couple. However, things soon hit an issue when Fiz ends up without her phone and on her own with her broken down car on a country road.
Will she get back in time for the big day - or has she managed to miss her own wedding?
Fiz and Tyrone have seen it all in the past few years of their romance, with both moving on with other partners before finding their way back to each other. On Christmas, Fiz is left disappointed when Tyrone gifts her some chocolates and a keyring.
Dressed in their wedding outfits, Tyrone and their daughters Hope and Ruby are all glammed up but as they come down the stairs, they find a note as Fiz explains to them that she has gone to buy a turkey.
He tries to call her phone, but she's left it at the house. Gemma and Chesney tell him to head to the hotel, whilst Bernie and Dev wait for Fiz and plan to take her to the venue for her big surprise.
However, whilst out, Fiz's car breaks and she's left stranded without her phone. As she heads to look for someone to help, Tyrone tells the wedding guests that it looks like things aren't happening how he hoped after all.
Meanwhile, Fiz bumps into a passing walker called Chris and explains her predicament - but will he be able to help?
Elsewhere, at number 8, things get tense as the Platts sit down for lunch. Audrey, Gail, Nick, David, Shona, Leanne, Max, Sam and Toyah are all together, but they're left shocked when Max opens his present and has been gifted a state of the art editing package.
As David makes a joke about Griff, Max is left angry and defends his friend instantly, leaving David full of regret.
Daniel is also keen to propose to Daisy this Christmas, but things go awry when the engagement ring was stolen in the burglary. Ken and Jenny are keen to see Daniel go through with his plan. But can they help and will Daniel pull off his proposal after all?
