What happens if Man City draw tonight against Arsenal FC in Premier League

The Premier League is finally back and Manchester City are taking on Arsenal at a rain-drenched Etihad Stadium tonight.

While City are currently a massive 25 points off league leaders Liverpool in the title race, the result of the match still has big ramifications on when Jurgen Klopp's side can officially win the league.

Liverpool only need two more victories from their last nine games to win the Premier League for the first time in their history but if the Blues fail to defeat Arsenal then they will have the chance to secure the title at Goodison Park, the home of their rivals Everton, in the Merseyside derby on Sunday, June 21.

Although there will be no fans present to witness it, winning your first title in 30 years at your local rivals' ground is something to savour.

However, if City win against the Gunners then Liverpool would have wait a few more days and defeat both Everton and the Crystal Palace at Anfield on the following Wednesday.
