Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry enjoyed one of the finest moments of his career against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
But the Bayern Munich star's night was almost ruined by one of his teammates.
The Germany international was responsible for four of Munich's seven goals in the Champions League win over the Lilywhites, thus entitling him to the match-ball.
Given his ties to the Gunners, it's understandable if the 24-year-old wanted to keep the ball as a souvenir.
However, Javi Martinez attempted to take that moment away from Gnabry as he booted the ball into the stand as the Bayern Munich players celebrated with their fans at the final whistle.
In the footage of those post-match celebrations, it's clear that Gnabry tried to stop Martinez from kicking the ball away.
And it was at that moment where the forward seemed to realise the match ball had gone forever.
Luckily that wasn't the case.
As confirmed by beIN Sports, Gnabry was reunited with his well-earned match ball after telling Uefa that he hadn't scored four goals in one game for a very long time.
One person who was impressed with Gnabry was Tony Pulis, who had the German on loan at West Brom a few years ago.
"I'm amazed, we had him at West Brom we took him on loan and we could never get him fit," Pulis told Sky Sports. "I think he even got taken off in an U21 game."
"He went back to Arsenal, they sold him on. He was a good kid, a nice kid, I didn't mind him at all and he's really fulfilled his potential.
"You could knock me over with a feather, having worked with him at West Brom and seeing him there to what he has done has been absolutely amazing.
"When people show what they can really do and really knuckle down and become so good as he's done, it's absolutely fantastic, the kid's done fantastic."
