What happened with Jurgen Klopp in tunnel at half-time of Tottenham vs Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was pictured in discussion with referee Paul Tierney at half-time during the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Klopp was left frustrated after Harry Kane was only booked for a wild lunge on Andy Robertson, while replays also appeared to suggest Diogo Jota should have been awarded a penalty kick.

The German slapped his arms to his side before exchanging words with Tierney as Spurs players entered the tunnel area.

Liverpool fought back from a goal down to equalise in the first-half after Kane opened the scoring for Tottenham.

Diogo Jota restored parity but Klopp himself picked up a booking for his behaviour on the touchline during the opening 45 minutes.

And the manager continued to fume during the half-time break as he gave Tierney an earful for his performance.
