What happened when Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were reunited after Liverpool's Champions League win

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has been reunited with Sky Sports colleague Gary Neville for the first time since the Reds won the Champions League.

The pair were bitter rivals on the pitch and now enjoy a friendly rivalry on our screens.

And ahead of England's Nations League semi-final against the Netherlands, both Carragher and Neville are in Guimaraes working with the broadcaster.

During a pre-match recording, joined by presenter David Jones, Neville comically claimed: "Jamie Carragher doing his best impression of Bez out of the Happy Mondays, hasn't been home or slept since the Champions League final."

Carragher asked: "Have you slept?"

To which the Manchester United icon replied: "No I've been hiding."

Neville jokingly continued: "I mean seriously you'll never get a Gillette contract, will he? Looking like that!

"Have you seen the state of that! Honestly Liam Gallagher after a three-day bender."

"That's a Champions League winning look. Mine was a six, a six day (bender)," interrupted the ex-Reds' defender.

Carragher then quizzed: "How are you feeling on the back of the Liverpool winning the Champions League?

"I found him wandering around Frankfurt airport looking for a connect to Papa New Guinea."

Neville replied: "I've got nothing to say at all.

"In fact let's move on."

The former No. 23 shared the clip with his 1.36million followers on Twitter, he wrote: "The @UEFAEURO tonight but a little look back to Saturday first!"

Gareth Southgate's side will take on Ronald Koeman's Holland on Thursday night.

The semi-final showdown will be shown live on Sky Sports with a kick off time of 7.45pm.
