He’s acting royalty and has countless unforgettable performances to his name so we thought we’d take a look at what happened when the iconic Al Pacino paid a special visit to Leeds United’s Elland Road.

The Oscar-winner, 80, who recently reunited with Robert De Niro for Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, came to our city back in May 2015.

The star was here for an event billed as a ‘world exclusive’ where the Hollywood legend met fans and told anecdotes from his career which spans films such as The Godfather series, Heat, Sacface, Carlito’s Way and more.

Olexy Productions and Rocco Bounvino organised the black tie occasion which took place at Leeds United’s Centenary Pavilion based at Elland Road.

As the video below shows, Pacino, loved his visit as he regaled fans with story after story and even talked them through his famous ‘hoo-ah’ catchphrase, from Scent of A Woman, and his method acting techniques.

At one point, Pacino, even dragged a superfan up on to the stage for a touching embrace.
