What happened to Zouma, Barkley and Mount before Chelsea training ahead of Newcastle visit

Premier League football returns to our screens this afternoon and the Chelsea squad are in good spirits ahead of their encounter with Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

After beating Southampton 3-1 before the international break, the Blues have the chance to make it five wins in a row across all competitions and the players seem to be pulling in the right direction.

And there was a moment in training on Friday which will make supporters laugh.

Right before the session began the trio of Ross Barkley, Mason Mount and Kurt Zouma made were making their way out to the pitches when they were distracted by a noise.

The clip which has been uploaded to the club's official YouTube account shows all three players turning around to realise it's a car engine and none are best pleased.

It's not clear as to who was responsible for the noise.

But Barkley couldn't believe what he was hearing and he made an hilarious gesture towards Mount.

Furthermore, noise certainly left Zouma stunned and his reaction was brilliant.

"This guy, why?", he asked whilst attempting to cover his ears.

It's possible that the trio all start against the Magpies this afternoon.

After all, N'Golo Kante is out with a groin problem which could hand Barkley a recall and Andreas Christensen's injury could ensure that Zouma retains his place in central defence alongside Fikayo Tomori.

Meanwhile, Mount is seemingly one of the first names on Lampard's teamsheet following four goals in eight league appearances thus far.
