Googlebox star, Ellie Warner, usually appears on the show with her sister Izzi. However, she has had to take a break from the show due to a serious incident concerning her boyfriend.
The Channel 4 TV star shared an Instagram post today detailing her position on the show. The Googlebox cast member is known for the humour she and her sister bring to the show and her bubbly personality.
Gogglebox fans will know that Ellie’s boyfriend, Nat, has appeared on the show before, albeit not as a regular cast member. Ellie has been a cast member on the show as one of the early contestants, so her presence has been missed on the show. But why exactly has Ellie been missing from the show and what exactly happened to her boyfriend, Nat?

What happened to Gogglebox star Ellie Warner’s boyfriend?
Ellie Warner’s boyfriend, Nat Eddleston, was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on a night out in Leeds in March. The incident was so bad that it left him in intensive care.
West Yorkshire police provided an update that Nat is in a ’critical but stable condition' after he reportedly suffered from a broken neck, as well as two collapsed lungs during the incident on March 18.
The police also announced that they have spoken to the driver of the car during their ongoing investigation. They confirmed to The Sun that "the driver was questioned" after the incident.

Will Ellie Warner return to Gogglebox?
Ellie posted an update on Instagram saying that she will be returning to Gogglebox tonight May 13, 2022.
The photo is of Ellie and her sister, Izzy raising a mug, whilst they both smile. The caption of the picture reads ‘looking forward to getting back on your screens tonight! Thank you for all the well wishes, we are really grateful that things are getting back to normal’.
Fellow cast member Mish commented under the Instagram post ‘we’ve missed you so much’.
During Ellie’s absence from the show, it has been reported that she was paid £1500 in full to help put her mind at ease regarding finances from the show.
