What happened to Gladiators' Eunice? Contestant turned pro became Hollywood stunt double

Eunice Huthart shot to fame after taking part in the original series of Gladiators - hosted by John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsson - back in 1994.

After becoming an international champion, the impressive Liverpudlian was asked to return as a member of the Gladiators line-up under the name 'Blaze' - in a show first.

Eunice quit her job as a floor manager at McDonalds and signed up to be full-time Gladiator.

Despite her success, the star's stint was brief as she called it quits on the show after just one series.

But where is the former Gladiator now? And what has she been up to since the show?

Although her time as a Gladiator was short-lived, Eunice set her sights on becoming a stunt woman.

She was soon spotted by a Hollywood agent who hired her to take part in various movies.

She's since worked on some of the highest-grossing films of all time, including Titanic and The Avengers.

Eunice went on to be a body double for the likes of Uma Thurman and Angelina Jolie, whom she now considers as a close friend.

The pair first met after Eunice was brought in as a double for Angelina's Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movies.

Speaking about their friendship, she said: "I taught Angelina the offside rule – and I test her regularly to make sure she remembers it.

"She came back to Liverpool with me one weekend and I took her to Anfield to show her the ground and played her all the old Liverpool victory tapes."

The star was also involved in James Bond film GoldenEye, where she acted as a stunt double for Famke Janssen.

Following her departure from Gladiators, Eunice has worked on around 100 films as a stunt woman - including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Salt, Mr and Mrs Smith and the Wolfman.

Eunice has reportedly returned to her home town in Liverpool with her daughter Carlie.

"Being away from my family for so long has been hard," she said.

"I missed them every day. I turned down a job on War Of The Worlds to stay at home."
