What happened to Dani Ceballos in Arsenal training session ahead of Bournemouth trip

Dani Ceballos is back for Arsenal.

And he was was given a special present from Alexandre Lacazette during a training session ahead of the Gunners' Boxing Day Premier League trip to Bournemouth.

The on-loan Real Madrid midfielder has been out of action since picking up a hamstring injury during last month's 1-1 draw against Vitoria in the Europa League.

That lay-off has clearly made him a little rusty.

Ahead of the trip to the Vitality Stadium, the likes of Mesut Ozil, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira and Rob Holding were put through their paces at the club's training base at London Colney.

And there moment that Ceballos may want to forget in a hurry.

As spotted in an Inside Training video uploaded to the club's YouTube page, at around the 1.24 mark, the Spaniard is just standing around with his legs partially open.

That caught the eye of Lacazette who was close by.

Quick as a cat, the Frenchman nonchalantly nutmegged Ceballos who tried to close his legs but was far too late.

As the video progresses, Ceballos seemingly tries to act like nothing happenend.

Meanwhile, Lacazette just looks around - presumably hoping that one of his teammates saw what happenend.

It remains to be seen if either player features against the Cherries.

As mentioned above, Ceballos hasn't played a minute of football since early November so will be short of match sharpness and could be held back for the London derby against Chelsea on Sunday.

Lacazette made a cameo appearance off the bench against Everton after being an unused substitute against West Ham United as well as Manchester City.
