Toby Alderweireld has opened up on what exactly happened in the Tottenham dressing room after Bayern Munich demolished them 7-2 in the Champions League.
Trailing 4-1 ten minutes after the restart despite taking the lead early on, Bayern struck a further three goals in the final seven minutes after Harry Kane had pulled one back from the penalty spot on the hour.
The result now means the Lilywhites are five points behind the German side after two games and they once again face a battle to qualify for the knockout stages.
Spurs' dressing room was certainly not the place to be after their European embarrassment and Alderweireld has revealed what exactly went on once Mauricio Pochettino had all the team back together.
"I think he [Pochettino] went straight to media so we were just with the lads," he said. "Of course we did not say a lot, everyone was quiet.
"We have to manage it as a team, be together and work hard to pick ourselves up and try to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.
"Everyone was disappointed. Tomorrow will be a day to talk more with each other.
"We have to stick together. No one is to blame, the team is to blame."
Spurs did have a number of chances in the first half to add to Son Heung-min's early effort and Alderweireld has admitted that they need to be better in front of goal when opportunities come their way.
"In some moments we have to do better with our own finishing," he added.
"This is a hard result, we have to be honest. But we have to stick together and try to get back up as quickly as possible."
