Bruno Fernandes has admitted that Manchester United training has been 'quite normal' ahead of the Manchester derby.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer survived the Liverpool debacle to remain in charge of United for the Reds' games against Tottenham and Atalanta, but the pressure on the Norwegian continues to be significant as he prepares to play Manchester City.
United drew 2-2 versus Atalanta on Tuesday and they'll welcome Pep Guardiola's side to Old Trafford four days after that match.
Both Manchester sides had Champions League commitments in midweek, which has limited preparation time for the derby, but Fernandes has insisted that training at Carrington has been 'quite normal' in the build-up to the all-important match.
“It’s [training] been quite normal," Fernandes told United's in-house media.
"I think probably these last few hours will be the ones when you feel... not the pressure, but because you want to play the game. You don’t want to spend long, you want to go to bed and sleep quick so the morning will come faster.
"It’s easier because the game will come earlier, so I’m going to wake up, eat and go straight to the game. So it’ll be much more easier and I think it’s good for us because that adrenaline you have in the body will be high.
"You have to make that happen quick so you can go on the pitch and relax yourself.”
