What happened Greg O'Shea's leg? Star wears boot for Six O Clock Virgin Media presenting gig after injuring himself training

Greg O'Shea has told of how he badly injured himself while training as fans were worried as he shared a video in a leg brace.

The Limerick native was presenting on the Virgin Media six o clock with Muireann O'Connell.

He had posted about the injury on Instagram and was working the muscles around the injury.

Greg posted the caption:

"Life is inevitably going to hit you with setbacks. What matters is how you bounce back from them."

He explained on his Instagram stories during a Q&A that he had hurt himself in a training session.

He explained: "I was hit awkwardly at a ruck in training. Some sort of damage but won't know the full extent for a few days after consulting more with doctor and physio.

"Thank you so much for your concern."

Fans also wanted to know if Greg had made a lot of money since appearing on Love Island.

One of his followers asked: "Are you loaded since Love Island?"

Greg answered: "No, I have enough to allow me to continue with my rugby and studies which is what I wanted from the start.

"Money isn't everything but you do need to make sure you are secure."

He is sitting his law exams and has a lot going on at the moment.

Greg added : "Yes I am sitting the law exams.

"It is easily the hardest thing I've ever tried to do in my life.

"That is because I have no desire to be a lawyer right now and I am training full time, doing work with brands, and also trying to get presenting experience at the same time.

"The thing is I set myself the challenge of doing them and no better time than the present."
