What happened between Miguel Azeez and Bukayo Saka in Arsenal training session

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could turn to his youngsters to stop the rot in the Premier League.

The Gunners are without a win in the top-flight of English football since beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford last month and have lost three games during this spell.

Worryingly, Arteta's side have scored just 10 goals in 11 Premier League matches, which means they go into Sunday's game against Burnley sitting 15th in the table with 13 points.

However, it was a different story in the Europa League as Arsenal won all six group games and scored a total of 20 goals.

Could Emile Smith Rowe start vs Burnley?

Having used a number of academy graduates in Europe, there could be a temptation for Arteta to repeat the trick in the Premier League.

In fact, the Gunners manager has even discussed the prospect.

"When I feel that it is the right moment to do that I have to pick the players that I have the feeling, we have the feeling as a coaching staff that has the best chance to win the game, so it has to be a yes." he said when asked if he was prepared to drop senior professionals in favour of less proven prospects.

One youngster that could be in consideration for a Premier League appearance in the near future is midfielder Miguel Azeez.

The 18-year-old made his senior debut against Dundalk on Thursday evening and trained alongside the likes of Folarin Balogun, Alexandre Lacazette, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the Burnley game.

The main focus of the session was on scoring goals as Arteta looks for the solution to his side's aforementioned problems in front of goal in the Premier League.

And whilst Azeez didn't help himself to a goal, he did assist one for fellow Hale End graduate Bukayo Saka.

As spotted in a behind-the-scenes of Arsenal's training session video uploaded to YouTube, at around the 1.51 minute-mark the teenager swaps passes with Saka who then produces a cheeky finish between the goalkeeper's legs.

Arsenal fans will be hoping what happened between Azeez and Saka in training can soon be replicated on the pitch in a competitive match.

Whether that happens against Burnley remains to be seen as many are expecting Arteta to recall Granit Xhaka in central midfield after the Switzerland international was rested for the trip to Ireland.

That leaves Dani Ceballos, Mohamed Elneny and Ainsley Maitland-Niles as the senior options to partner Xhaka in the absence of the injured Thomas Partey.
