Hakim Ziyech scored his second goal in as many games to help Chelsea knock Sheffield United out of the FA Cup and book a semi-final date with Manchester City at Wembley.
The Blues ran out 2-0 winners at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon thanks to an own-goal from Blades midfielder Ollie Norwood and a late strike from substitute Ziyech, ensuring they secured a spot in the semi-finals of the world's oldest club competition for the second season in a row.
Although Chelsea got the job done with a fairly routine scoreline, they did have to ride a wave of pressure from the Blades during the second half, as they chased an equaliser. David McGoldrick, somehow, headed wide from close range when it seemed easier to score before Rhian Brewster drilled the ball into the side netting in chances that came and went for Paul Heckingbottom's team.
In the end, though, Ziyech stepped off the bench to wrap up the victory in second half stoppage time, cooly firing a low shot past Aaron Ramsdale after connecting with Ben Chilwell's cute pass.
It marked a second goal in as many games for the Morocco international after he scored the Blues' first goal in their 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the second-leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 tie last Wednesday.
And after coming in for a fair amount of criticism over the last few months, following a below-par start to his career at Stamford Bridge, Ziyech took the opportunity to hit back at those who have been critical of his performances during his celebration.
Spotted by an eagle-eyed Chelsea supporter on reddit, Ziyech put his fingers to his lips before dragging his hand back across his mouth, implying that he wanted his critics and doubters to be silenced, by telling them to zip it.
In fairness, Ziyech has struggled to live up to expectations this season, not scoring as many goals or racking up anywhere near as many assists as it was hoped.
But after scoring twice in his last two appearances, he, Thomas Tuchel and the Chelsea fans will be hoping he can start and discover some form between now and the end of the campaign.
But before Ziyech can begin to think about increasing his Blues goals tally, he must first link-up with the Morocco squad over this international break.
Confirming if Ziyech would be leaving Stamford Bridge over the two-week break, Tuchel said: "Hakim yes, like everybody else with the same rules and possibilities."
In total this season, Ziyech has scored four goals and claimed four assists in 26 appearances.
