Leeds United will be excited by what former Manchester United star turned Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville previously said about Rodrigo Moreno.
Rodrigo is on the verge of completing his deal to join Leeds for £30 million from Valencia during the summer transfer window.
Neville of course endured a tough time as manager of Valencia during the 2015/16 season.
But even in that brief stint in La Liga, Neville noticed the qualities of Rodrigo.
The former Valencia boss explained that what impressed him the most about the forward was his work ethic in training, something which bodes well for the player ahead of joining Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds.
“I am very impressed with him,” Neville told El Mundo in January 2016. “Since he returned from Christmas he has trained fantastically well. He had a very good impact in the Real Madrid game. I believe in him a lot, I have a lot of faith.”
Leeds fans will like these comments because they show that Rodrigo is a good trainer, something you have to be if you want success under Bielsa.
The Argentine manager is known as a tough taskmaster who asks a lot of his players from a physical and tactical standpoint.
It's good that the 29-year-old already has the training side of his game in good shape ahead of his switch to Elland Road.
