What Frankfurt star has said about Chelsea that Blues fans will love to hear

Chelsea managed to return to England with a draw and a vital away goal after drawing 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt and midfielder Makato Hasebe has admitted the Blues were a step up in class.

The Bundesliga side took the lead in the game through coveted striker Luka Jovic but Chelsea responded through Pedro, grabbing that all important away goal ahead of next week's second leg tie at Stamford Bridge.

It was a tough fought game between the two and both sides will believe they have a chance of progressing to the final of the competition when the two teams meet again on Thursday night.

Frankfurt are no strangers to a big game - they've beaten the likes of Inter Milan, Benfica and Shakter Donetsk to get to this stage of the Europa League and are confident that they can progress past the Blues and make it to the final, where the winners of the Arsenal and Valencia game await them.

Every fan likes to hear to praise of their team and midfielder Hasabe has been full of it for Chelsea after facing them on Thursday.

Speaking to German broadcaster Sport1, he said: "1-1 is not a bad result but we have conceded a goal, which was bitter.

"But anything is possible in London, we have our chances.

"Chelsea were a step up from Inter Milan, Benfica or Shakter Donetsk, but we still managed to get a draw.

"And we have to score at least one goal away from home which is tough but we can do it."
