Frank Lampard has allayed fears of another injury to Tammy Abraham following Chelsea's 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
The striker scored the opener as the Blues bounced back following their defeats to Manchester City and West Ham, with Trezeguet equalising for the visitors before Mason Mount scored a superb winner.
Abraham returned to the line-up after missing the weekend defeat to the Hammers with a thigh injury, but will have left a few supporters sweating after coming off in the second half with what looked like a knock.
Lampard though was quick to allay those fears when giving his reaction to the game to Amazon Prime Video.
“I think he just gave the ball away and then wanted a round of applause from both sets of fans!” Lampard said.
“I was really pleased he got through the game because we thought it might have been a struggle.
“He looked fine to me, you saw that in his all-action game, so hopefully there’s no problem.”
On his side’s performance, Lampard added: “Both goals were good goals for us, we should have had a lot more, that is the only thing I’ll complain about.
“I’m delighted for the young boys, it’s a continuation of their form and their season.
“We’ve had a little lull as a team in the last week. West Ham’s the one game I’ve been disappointed with, and I wanted a reaction, and you want your big players to score goals like that.”
