Chelsea continue to be linked with a move for Atletico Madrid and Spain midfielder Saul Niguez this summer.
The 26-year-old has around five years remaining on his deal at the Wanda Metropolitano, so it may come as a surprise to many that he is being heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish capital this summer.
The Blues have been credited with an interest for Saul, but the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool are also said to be keen on the former Real Madrid youth star.
Such competition for a player makes it more complicated than usual to complete a transfer - even for the current champions of Europe, Chelsea.
Liverpool are said to be interested in the Spain international, as they look for a replacement for new Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
Also, surprising reports on Monday emerged that Jordan Henderson could leave Anfield this summer due to uncertainty over his contract with the Reds.
Now, former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has reportedly advised his former Atleti team-mate Saul to make the move to Merseyside and snub offers from the likes of Barca, Man United and the Blues.
That's according to @MercadoATM on Twitter, who says that Torres has been in conversation with the midfielder about his future, and that Saul is "thinking about it".
As mentioned above, the Atletico midfielder is also being linked with a move to Barcelona, with Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano suggesting the two clubs are in "advanced talks" over a swap deal that would see Saul trade places with Antoine Griezmann.
The latter, Griezmann, only moved to Barca a couple of years ago from Atletico, but is now being linked with a sensational return to the Spanish capital.
