Leeds United's Ezgjan Alioski has teased Arsenal ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash, referencing the red card shown to Nicolas Pepe earlier this season.
The Gunners' record-signing was issued a red card in a goalless draw between the two sides at Elland Road in November.
Pepe and Alioski went head-to-head in the clash, with the former given his marching orders for a headbutt after a brief VAR review.
Arsenal fans were left unhappy with Alioski's overreaction to the incident, believing that it was his role that ultimately led to Pepe seeing red.
That incident has not been forgotten by the Leeds man though, as he teased the Gunners ahead of this weekend's reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium.
Alioski's comments ahead of the clash have been revealed by Leeds striker Patrick Bamford, when speaking to the LUFC official podcast.
"Do you know what? He (Alioski) said in the changing room, I can’t wait for Sunday. I was like ‘why?’. He said ‘because I’m playing against my mate Pepe again'."
Arsenal are looking to return to winning ways against Marcelo Bielsa's side, having seen their unbeaten streak swiftly ended by back-to-back defeats against Wolves and Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Leeds leapfrogged Mikel Arteta's side in the table following a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday.
Last season's Championship winners have won three of their last four matches in the Premier League but have not beaten Arsenal since May 2003.
